2011 NFL Combine; NFL Draft Breaking News

NFLPA E.D. DeMaurice Smith
Union officials and player agents are meeting to discuss the withholding of players from NFL Combine and NFL Draft activities. NFLPA executive director DeMaurice Smith has been and will continue meeting with agents to discuss boycott options.

In the end, while both sides claim to have the fans' interests at heart, both continue serving themselves.

Perhaps the new CBA should be ironed out and proposed by the fans, not the players or the owners.

After all, the NFL would not exist in its present form without the fans. Give the fans a voice, and let the fans be the ones to accept whatever proposal the players/owners wish to present, and offer counter-proposals.

Just as in Life Without the NFL is No Life At All, I ask the question:  are NFL fans really going to take a Roger Goodell-led NFL or a Smith-led NFLPA back into their wallets?
